Monkey Side Table - Grey

Jamie Hayon’s quirky sense of humor and idiosyncratic world view has made him one of Spain’s most renowned contemporary designers. Sharing a similar sense of spectacle and sensibility BD Barcelona first collaborated with the designer on the ‘Showtime’ collection, back in 2006. Its success led to a large number of collaborations that include several elements of furniture, like the Monkey Side Table. Hayon’s playful nature is perfectly captured with the sculpted gesture of this quizzical cartoonish figure. The architectural concrete is fashioned into a light-hearted side table for outdoor or indoor use, contrasting light and heavy, practical and whimsical.
