Base with hollow-box construction and top in bent natural sheet steel. Black phosphatized finish, final fixing with bees wax. BIG IRONY products have intentionally not been painted because it is the surface irregularity the characteristic which makes them so special. The daily use will form stains forming a patina which renders the surface even more beautiful. To clean it use a non aggressive/soft detergent as it would be wood.
